Part 1 of the day: up mailbox. This was my first time all the way to the summit and the view is now a favorite of mine. A+. Solitude was not expected and was definitely not received on the trail. The best part of the hike up was running into an old friend. Of course she was on the trail.

Part 2 of the day: on Mount Si, with Mailbox naturally in the background. The trend continued - I ran into another friend on the way up the old trail here too! Another crowded summit, another beautiful view.
