These plaques were everywhere! It seems like every building in Halifax is an historic affair. Also, neat stone work on this regional courthouse.

Our second day in Nova Scotia coincided with record breaking rainfall. Not being able to stand another musem or history thing, we ended up playing arcades, seeing a movie, and playing scrabble. It was a close game, even though it started out uninspired. Anyone want to buy an 'O'?

Neat! I think I would like a sun dried tomato and basil bar in the backcountry. Canada, you're the coolest.

A stop in Saint John on our way back to the states. We're assuming the weather here is horrendous; there is a connecting series of skyways and underground tunnels that go from square to square. Kinda cool, actually. We ended up at a Tim Hortons next to a museum and public library. Naturally we stopped for provisions before hitting the road ...
