Skis on packs, melting snow on trail. That says it all. 2.5 miles to the meadow where we transitioned to skinning.

It's insanely cool how fascinated she is with sky formations - here we saw our first rainbow of the day.

Cool, clean water runoff from snow melt on rocks. Radka is standing on a snow bridge that goes into a big moat. Turns out the bridge was way fine.

Also, did I mention it was HOT? It was boiling all weekend. Sunset at camp was refreshingly cool. The climb up to the base of the Roman wall was comfortable, and then from there it was getting warmer and baking. Here we are just getting our first bits of solar radiation.

This mountain has always looked really big to me. From here, not so much. You can see the sulphide glacier and the fischer chimneys routes.

Nicklay and his JetBoil

This dude pulled out his JetBoil at almost every stop and was either melting snow or making coffee. I appreciate the man's dedication :)
