2018-05-06 Mt. Ellinor Mountaineers Scramble

Fabulous scramble in a fabulous location! 3 hours to the top, 1.5 hours down. Easy and fun.

8:36am - depart lower trailhead at 2600'
8:55am - ice axes and helmets at 4500'
10:55am - look at the route over to Mt. Washington, notch at 5600'
11:45am - summit at 5914'
12:20pm - depart summit
12:40pm - back at 4500', doff ice axes and helmets
13:50pm - back at the cars

Consistent snow on the lower trail at 3300'
Couldn't make the hairpin turn on the road to the upper trailhead (at ~3000') - it was snowed in
